This past semester I went to go see one of the greatest up and coming DMV rappers WALE :). He is awesome live and on his mixtapes. His album is set to release this summer (so exciteddd). Check out his new video Chillin with Lady Gaga, it is really ill.

So like I said I love music and my personal faves are N.E.R.D. (plus it does not hurt that they are VA Beach natives) :) I saw them in concert this past semester at VCU in Richmond and they were AMAZINGGGG !! I really feel that music evokes and portrays all emotions regardless of genre. I'll listen to anything from country to hip-hop just as long as I can relate to it. Now these are not the only artists I listen to .. just my personal faves and albums I can listen to from start to finish.

finale

So, if anyone REALLY knows me they know I am a HUGE hills and laguna beach fan. Tonight was the season finale of the hills and it was really good. It was Lauren's last episode and the return of Kristen. Also, Spencer and Heidi got married (sad face). There was sooo much drama, but it is only the beginning for the new season in the fall.




Goodbye Lauren you will be missed & welcome back Kristen (i am not sure whether to be happy about her returning ...)

OK, so I have been really getting into basketball lately. I've always loved the game, but here lately I'm REALLY into it. So of course I am rooting for the Cavs (duh)! Lebron is amazing and definitely the sole reason why the Cavs are the best. He has is such a star athlete. I also find it amazing how so many other celebrities have been supporting him. Clearly everyone knows that King James is the ruler on the basketball court (even Jay-Z, who is my fave rapper EVER).




Go Lebron :) oh & btw, Jigga Man needs a haircut BADLY. I hope he cuts it for the Blueprint 3 album cover, because his hair is killing me softly.

twenty one

Lately I have been thinking about the number 21 and the significance it has for many college students (clearly so we can buy ALCOHOL). One of my good friends is turning 21 in September and she is already planning her festivities. My mother shudders every time we talk about how fast I am growing up and how it was only yesterday when I was a baby (i turn 21 January 26). I have realized yes being 21 is great, but it also mean added responsibility. I'm learning to value the time I have now and to take things one day at a time and not rush things. I think that people my age are so worried about what is ahead, yet they fail to realize that these are the BEST days of our lives and we should cherish them.


Oh this guy definitely has TWENTY ONE things to worry about:





My biggest concern is these women, and why they would even lay in bed with a man who has all these children. This man also does not have a decent job to even take care of these children. Ugh. What a mess.

first time

OK, so this is my first time using this site. It is actually my first time blogging in awhile (remember those xanga days?). I am not going to babble and ramble about my entire life story (that's what a therapist is for). In any event I'll just be posting things that capture my attention and random stuff i find cool. So there you have it.
